There are 2 of these in Dallas. The one in Fair Park is quite cheesy. Seriously, don't waste your time. The Dallas World Aquarium is AWESOME. We took our family this past Saturday and it was very nice. Caution: It was CROWDED. I would say definitely go, but go during the week.

Here's their website:

You used to be able to view the feeding of the sharks at 3:00 p.m. too. You might call ahead to see if that is still available. This is pretty cool, especially for curious little boys and girls interested in Shark Week on the Discovery Channel.

I really liked it too - it can be busy depending on when you go. I would recommend it at least once - lots of fun exhibits. Definitely go - it is pricey, but what isn't these days!!

At Fair Park? I didn't think it was there... there is an aquarium there, but it's tiny and 1 floor and there's nothing really to see...

I thought the aquarium that was the one to see was downtown... not far from the Fairmont and the Sixth Street Museum.

Never been to that one, but my daughter's have and they said it's great and has tons of things to see.

it is awesome!!! a bit pricey but it is worth it!!! i would definitley go at least once to experience it. we went on mothers day and it was just amazing to see so many different species.the reason it is so pricey to go is im sure the upkeep of the place is alot and to feed that many different type of life cant be cheap.

Its pretty pricey, i believe its $19 per adult, and $11 per child. We went last week, and i would suggest that you NOT go on a Thursday or a Friday. It was PACKED!!!! No fun at all. We usually go on Mondays when school is in ,and there is no one there for the most part, its much better whe you can take your time and see everything you want to without being pushed by billions of kids lol!

We went on the 4th of July. We thought since it was Friday and people would be doing outside things that there wouldn't be that many people there... WRONG! The upper levels are very tight and we felt like we were cattle about to be branded. I'm not one for people in my breathing space and it was uncomfortable. You couldn't get into areas enough to relax and see the animals. It's really more about the rainforest than an actual aquarium. So if you are looking for something like they have near Galveston or Chicago, you will be disappointed. It is not an open floor plan.

I don't think it was worth the cost at all. Still, you have to evaluate what you are expecting and if you are willing to pay those prices.
