I suffer from headhaches, neck pain and TMJ and have had CST many times. I have always found it to be very helpful with the pain and muscle relaxation. It is possible that if you are feeling dizzy it could be from the opening up of some blocked energy pathways. This will pass in time as you become more grounded.

A grounding visualisation can be helpful. Use the image of roots growing out from the sole of each foot deep down into the Earth and then drawing up heavy Earth energy. I like to draw the energy right up through my feet & legs, up through my body until it reaches my heart chakra.

I hope this helps you.

Many Blessings,

Hi S.,
Are you asking about Cranial Sacral Massage?
If that's what you mean, yes,
there is USUALLY a shift of energy
which one may experience in any number of ways,
INCLUDING, but not limited to, dizziness, initially.

After such work is done, always start slow.
Wiggle the fingers and toes, stretch like awakening from sleep. Breathe DEEPLY and EXHALE deeply as well. Turn onto your side (on the table) for a breath or two, and then be sure to SLOWLY sit up on the table(using your hands to prop you) as you inhale, allowing the legs to be suspended from the table. Sit there on the table a few more moments, breathing, while doing a gentle neck roll, perhaps (or whatever gentle movements feel good for you). It's smart to have water with you too, so that once you get your feet below you, you can DRINK IN your wellness with the water, in a prayerful state. Cranial Sacral Massage is helpful for aligning the neck and sacrum. Some of those folks who are very sensitive to the work may even FEEL the spinal fluid as it courses between the two places. Wonderful work, a fabulous modality.

I hope this helps.
If you were speaking about something else,
I guess I am unfamiliar.

Be WELL!

Hi,
My experience is that Upledger cranial sacral is unreliable- he will train pretty much anyone, and some don't have the back ground to know what they are doing- so ask is this Upledger and if it is stay away. (I have heard your complaint before.)

However there was this doctor- Dr. Major DeJarnette and he only trained Chiropractors and Dentists- so he knew they had the background to know what they were doing- and he called it Craniopathy, those docs also do Sacral Occipital Technique- SOT- look for one of those to fix you up

If the person knows what they are doing... it is the most amazing therapy in the world for neck/back pain. I am not sure it cures it, but it allowed my 1st pain free time in over a year!
