Paul Mitchell's "Baby Don't Cry" shampoo works great (much better than olive oil -- no grease and smells wonderful)! It may seem expensive, but the bottle lasts a really long time.

The Mustela foam shampoo for newborns does wonders! My newborn son had it badly, and after trying so many things, my dear friend recommended this to me, and it is amazing!
It is expensive- $10 or $11 for the bottle, but it lasts for months, clears them right up, and smells that sweet clean baby smell- worth every penny!
You can find it at Babies R Us, I know that for sure.

I don't think there is a product to treat cradle cap. I remember when my son had it, we were advised to apply baby oil when giving him a bath, wait a few minutes and gently brush out any loose parts. It worked great.

My pediatrician told me to use baby oil on my sons hair. Comb it gently with a baby comb and then wash it out with selsun blue. Do that for about a week and the cradle cap should be gone. It came back a little on my son so I just did it again.

While my son was nursing I used a comb to kind of scratch the scales off his head. That is what really worked for him. Use one of those baby combs, and lightly scratch it off.

olive oil will help to loosen it. and natural bristle skin brush will help to remove the cradle cap. my youngest son has this too. even now at 14 mths old.

I C.. Try washing your baby's hair every other day using a baby wash cloth to wash off the dry skin and massage your baby's scalp and hair with a nickel size amount of olive oil.
