Hello Mommas!!
I normally have my period around the begining of the month. About 2 weeks before my period is due i get cramps for the 2 weeks leading to my period. I had my period on 12-4 and am expecting it technically tomorrow. I have had no symptoms at all of even getting it. I have taken 4 tests within days of each other and all of them are reading negative. I want to be pregnant soooo bad but i think i may be trying to hard to get there. Am i rushing things or being stressed out too much? Please help

What can I do next?

sounds like stress to me quit trying so hard and it will happen it could very well be a false pregnancy too. I have seen girls do this with no positive test. they get all the symptoms and no pregnancy.usually when someone close to them gets pregnant usually a sister or something. I have only seen this twice in my life though

I think you should stop worrying about it and go on with your life. Wait a week. If you still haven't gotten your period, then take a test. I know how it is to be anxious though. I was the same way when my husband and I were TTC. However, all it lead to was lots of wasted money on pregnancy tests and a lot of disappointment. I will tell you though, that the month I found out I was in fact pregnant I had taken a test the day my period was due and it was negative. I waited a week and it was positive! So, I would give it a week and try to just live your life as normal--I know, easier said than done! Good luck! I hope you don't start tomorrow and that you end up being pregnant!!

I think you are rushing things and getting stressed out--you can fake your body into having symptoms from wanting to be pregnant so badly.I would stop taking tests. Instead, take prenatals and keep yourself healthy and do everything you can to facilitate having a healthy pregnancy-if you are overweight, lose weight, if you smoke-stop smoking etc. Not saying you do either, but just saying to prepare your body. Try not to focus on getting pregnant---it will come naturally when your body and your mind are ready for it to happen--- Good luck to you!

Wait another week. It could either be stress or just too soon to pick the little one up. Not all tests are strong enough to pick it up very early; a blood test is the best bet for that one. When I was in the military and slated to go to Iraq, I had to have a routine blood test before some nasty shots. It barely picked up my Deedee and I was about 3 weeks along (even then it was weak enough I had to wait a few days to take another one to be sure). So if you are, you're def not far enough along for the home test to work right. Good luck. :)

It could just be too early to tell, wait a few days and try again. You never know. :-)

Yes. You are stressing about wanting to be pregnant. I did this too. You want it so badly you are tricking your body into thinking you could be. It registers as stress & no period. If the test is negative, you've got a pretty stinking good chance that you're not pregnant. Take a test AFTER you are due to be sure but then relax your mind about it. You will get pregnant when you're supposed to. :) Good luck J..

You're not technically late yet since you're due to get it tomorrow, right? If you're not experiencing any symptoms of having your period, then you aren't experiencing any early pregnancy symptoms. They're very similar. I hope it happens for you soon!

wait until tomorrow to see if you spot. i was due for my period and took the test that morning and the test showed negative, but by 10 am i had cramps and some spotting and thought...well - there goes being pregnant this month. went back to bathroom few hrs later and no more spotting and thought..oh what if it was implantation bleeding. took another test when i got home (digital one) from work at 5:30 and poof it was positive. took another one the next morning and it was positive too. good luck!

You could be pregnant. You could be late. I have learned that people can have all the pregnancy symptoms and not be pregnant or have no symptoms and feel exactly like you're about to get your period and actually be pregnant. I don't think it's worth stressing over until you can test and know for sure.

Here are a few tips regarding testing. Only use first morning urine -- it's more concentrated, so it's more likely to give you an accurate reading. First Response Early Response testers are the most accurate at this stage; however, they are pricey, and the ones from Dollar Tree or eBay are almost as accurate. Don't use a digital for early testing -- it requires more hCG than the lines. Also, only use the pink line tests, the blue ones are less accurate.

Do you track your cycles? Not everyone has a 28 day cycle (mine is 33 days). If I didn't track my cycles, I would have started testing for pregnancy 5 days too early, and/or thought I was late when I actually wasn't. If you are trying to conceive, tracking cycles, taking your basal body temperature and/or using ovulation predictor kits (they are cheap on eBay, very pricey in the drugstore) can help!

Good luck!

Oh gosh, it is so hard when you're trying and you want it so badly! I do agree with Molly though, your body can feel the stress and won't necessarily act "right", so try and chill a little! I know, easier said than done! Even though the tests say you can test 5 days before your missed period, I think it's more accurate to wait. Also, make sure you're taking the test first thing in the morning. Also, as Molly said, start taking prenatals if you're not already and just focus on the fun part of trying and not the stressful part of waiting! Good luck!
