Ladies -
Hubs will be a knight, just picked up a dragon costume for little one. I am a bit rusty with my fairy tales. Who would I dress as?

It's all about a princess. Anytime you get to wear a tiara is a fun and great time. I need to get back to my inner princess.

Gotta be the princess. If you're not the princess type, maybe a mama dragon or the castle.

A damsel-in-distress (you can get a not too awful prom dress at a thrift shop for either costume, maybe hot glue on some jewels or pearls to make it fancy) like Rapunzel if you get a really long wig, a wicked witch is classic fairy tale character, a medieval lady with the braided hair or headress, long dress, and jeweled belt would be an easy one, or you could even be a sorceress with a long sword like a knight. Sorceress would be fun, you could be very dramatic with your makeup and hair (lots of flexablity in costume wig choice), and it's not so predicable in appearance, sort of a cross between princess and witch. You could be the green fairy, or a dragon fairy, a flower fairy (there are great how-to videos on you-tube for how to make fairy wings). You could also be a water nymph or a dryad (which is an oak-tree nymph). For the dryad, wear an earth and leaf tone dress, you could dip-dye something clingy and do pressings of an oak-leaf with clothing paint, then do green and brown makeup, pin up your hair and pin gold-sprayed leaves into your hair and clothing. Have fun!

Definitely the princess!! :)
I wish my hubby would dress up in a theme like that with me & our daughter. He's not really into the dressing up for Halloween stuff lol Daughter wants to be a dinosaur this year, so I'm not sure I can convince him to dress as anything to match! haha
