Okay mama's I need your help. I need two cookie recipes. Chocolate chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies. There are too many on line so I want your favorite ones. Thanks

Eta I am looking for double chocolate chip. I use the tollhouse one for regular chocolate chip cookies.

I have to say my favorite Peanut Butter cookies are the mix bought in the red Betty Crocker bag! They are so easy and I get compliments on them ALL the time, people always ask for the recipe.
For Chocolate Chip cookies I follow the recipe on the Tollhouse bag.

The "Urban Legend" version of Neiman Marcus' chocolate chip cookies. There was a story out there that this was the real recipe....it's not. But it's an EXCELLENT cookie recipe that I've used of years. http://goodtaste.tv/recipe/the-original-neiman-marcus-cho...

Here's the real one, for anyone who wants to try it. It's also good, but not as good as the fake one! http://goodtaste.tv/recipe/neimans-authentic-chocolate-ch...

As for peanut butter cookies: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Peanut-Butter-Cup-Cookies/De...

My husbands coworker recently made some chocolate choc chip cookies that were very good. He said it was the recipe off the Tollhouse chips bag.

Use the Tollhouse recipe off the chocolate chip bag.
When it says to use butter make that amount half butter and half shortening.
What ever the amount it says for chocolate chips, add in 1/2 a bag more chocolate chips but use a different chocolate (if you are using semi-sweet chocolate chips then add in 1/2 a bag of milk chocolate chips).

Sorry I can't help with peanut butter cookies - I know some people love them - but they've never been a popular cookie in our house so I don't have a recipe for them.

I like chocolate chip without the chocolate. I substitute walnuts or pecans.

Summers Chocolate Chip Cookies (My friend came up with this recipe and they are totally delicious!) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix Together:
2 Eggs
1 tsp vanilla
¼ cup sugar
¾ cup brown sugar

Cut in:

1 pkg (1 cup) butter flavored Crisco

Then add the following ingredients and mix well:

2 ¼ cup flour
1 pkg (4 serv size) jello instant pudding (Vanilla)
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1 cup walnuts (optional)

Bake 8-10 minutes. Not any longer. Cookies may be a little doughy in the middle, but will cook once you take them out of the oven and let cool.

Once you take them out of the oven place them on a cooling rack or parchment paper and let cool.

Peanut Butter Cookies (5 ingredients to deliciousness!)
1 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/2 Cup Instant Oatmeal

You can really add just the first 3 ingredients and they would be good but I like to add the vanilla and oatmeal. To me they taste better.

I hope you try them!!! Have fun!
