I have scuff marks all over my kitchen floor from boots, chairs, my sons quad...so on. I also have a large yellowish stain by my front door i assume from dirt being tracked in. Any tips on how to get it back to that bright, clean, shiny white it once was?

I just read that you can make a paste with a little baking soda and that will remove scuff marks. Try it on an inconspicuous place first. I hope you can remove those marks!

Try the Mr. Clean magic erasers - they're really magic - great for scuffs and other marks on floors, walls, microwaves, etc.

I just wanted to comment that Magic Eraser is a scary products to use around children. I have a friend whose 2 year old just wound up in ER for 57 hours as a result of using it to clean permanent marker off her wall!

I would highly recommend a non-toxic product called Sol-u-mel. It's an all-purpose cleaner that will easily remove those scuff marks off your floor, along with many other great uses! I use it almost on a daily basis to clean around my home & have numerous stories of things I've cleaned with great results!

I don't sell this product, but will happily show you how you can get this fantastic product. Please feel free to contact me! Good luck!

My dad and I own a floor covering store and I would suggest the majic eraser as well. However, the yellowish stain by the door may not be easily removed. Did you have a walk off mat in that spot at all? Rubber backed mats cause vinyl to yellow. This is common in bath rooms in front of tubs and in front of doors. If you never had a mat there and have paved drive, it may also be asphalt sealer. They can also turn vinyl yellow. Good luck though. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions!

Magic Eraser for the scuff marks as for the rest of your floor GOOD LUCK that is why as soon as we have the $$$ we are re doing our kitchen floor our floors are know where near white and neither are my parents. I have yet to figure out why people put them in homes and apartments white/light colors are not good they show everything.

Hi J.,

The Magic Eraser works wonders on scuff marks... It's amazing - whenever we have skuff marks, my two girls fight over who gets to erase them! And they're 16 and 11...

As for the rest of the floor ... good luck, and if you find something, let me know...lol

Have a good day!!
