Christmas Tree Farm Recommendations

Hi!

I'd like to take my kids somewhere to cut down our own Christmas tree, which we did every year in Seattle before moving here. Any recommendations for good tree farms? I'm looking for reasonable prices, good selection of trees, and a festive atmosphere for the kids. We live in south OP/Leawood but can travel for a good spot!

Thanks!
K.

What can I do next?

There are a couple of really great live tree farms south on 69. One of them is at like 237th and Quivera. Go south on 69 hwy and exit on 223rd St and go right to Quivera. South on Quivera until you get to the farm. There are signs to lead you in. There are other farms out toward Louisburg if you see one that interests you more!

Well our favorite christmas tree farm is no longer around (Warren's). Last year we just bought our tree from Lowe's and have been searching for another great farm. Here is a website that has some tree farms in kansas/missouri. Hope this helps.

Every year we ususally go to Santa's tree farm in Lee's Summit, and it is really big and quite a bit of fun for fam, has wagons and the bit, but pricey... $60-$65 average. but this year we went to Tom's off 50Hwy nearish grandview, and 71, and it iwas cheaper $40 for all trees, but not very nice place and the tree selection wasn't great.
Good Luck and Happy Holidays!

We went to Bishop's Farms, outside of DeSoto, Ks. We had to walk and search for our tree, but ended up being really happy. We got a 6 foot tree, and paid $44 plus a plastic bag to put it in.
