I don't go to thembut I love my pediatrition Pediatric Associates of Barrington - they also have an office in Crystal Lake. They have several doctors in the practice so you can find the one that fits best for you and your child.

HI T., I also live in Algonquin/LITH. I use Children and Teens Medical Center. Their located on 31. The main intersection is 31 and Algonquin Rd. The doctor I would recommend is Dr. Megahed. Hes AWESOME! Their number is ###-###-####. Good Luck!

Children's Medical Group used to be part of Pediatric Associates of Barrington, mentioned in your responses. The doctors left because they felt that their patients were getting lost in the shuffle of all the doctors, which is why I transferred when they started the new practice in 2007. My kid loves going to see both Drs. Tjaden & O'Brien. They seem to always available either in the office or by phone after hours. Hope this helps. Good luck with the doc search.

Go to Children and Teens. We see Dr. Megahead. He is wonderful with my daughters. You will not be disappointed with him.

dr. tjaden and O'brien are awesome drs. They used to work at ped associates of barrington- and started their own practice- I work at ped associates and miss them!

Amazing, amazing, amazing doctors (and staff)!! Have gone through our fair share of doctors looking for the 'right' ones for our family/children and found them here! Can't say enough about these two professionals. Also very enjoyable as people! Feel great knowing they are my children's doctors and there if ever we need them. Please go at least once to try them out.

p.s. - office is beautiful and super kid friendly!

Dr. Tjaden & Dr. O'Brien are fantastic pediatricians! My children primarily see Dr. Tjaden and he is very good at making them feel good about what is going on while they are there and I trust his judgement completely. He always listens to my concerns and then addresses them appropriately. For my family the best doc's in town.

Haven't heard of that practice, but if you want a good pediatrician, Dr. Knapik is wonderful. She is in the new Centegra building on Algonquin road in Huntley. Both my girls have gone to her since they were babies and my oldest is 6. When either one has been sick and needs to be seen now, they make it happen. Hope this helps.

I have a 13 month old little girl and they are my pediatricians. They are younger and very well educated and have the best bedside manner. I LOVE these two doctors!!!! I can't say enough about either of them. Just the nicest people you will ever meet! They seem to care for your children the way they would their own. I was just there on Tuesday because my daughter is sick. My appointment was with Dr. Tjaden but when Dr. O'Brien saw me walk in with my sick child...she wouldn't let me sit down and took me in right away. Now that's service!!! I can't say enough about them or their staff (who is also wonderful!!!). You will be very pleased with either doctor.
