Dr. Clinton Callahan is the best children's dentist I have ever heard of. He is very gentle with kids and yet firm when he needs to be. His office staff is very professional and effiecient, yet friendly and compassionate. His assistants are also very professional and so good with the children. The office is actually set up to cater to children, there is a train table and video game system in the waiting room and they have ceiling mounted televisions so the kids can watch DVDs to distract them and make the visit go smoothly. When he had to remove an absessed tooth from my four year old he did such a great job that my son asked me as I was loading him into the van "Mommy, when is Dr. Callahan going to wiggle my tooth out?" I recommend him to anyone!!!

I recommend Dr Roy Robbins. He is located in the Cheyenne Mountain area and is great. His hours are a little limited, but he is wonderful with the kids. All of mine have seen him (ages 7,5,&2) and have never had a problem. My oldest had a "baby root canal" and felt no pain until the meds wore off. She said the worst part was the smell of the drill. I see him too so he is good for the whole family

I love my dentist/hygienist and my daughter does too! It's Dr. David Webb and he's located just a few blocks north of the Olympic Training Center. As they suggested, I took my daughter to one appt. to let her get familiar with the office, people, routine - no pressure to actually get into the chair or do an exam. The next visit, the hygienist, Dana, explained everything to my daughter, showed her the tools, let her feel them on her hand before using in her mouth. My then 3-yr-old daughter climbed right into the chair and let Dana clean her teeth. Then they gave her the usual toothbrush/paste plus toys, crayons, coloring books, etc. She begs to go to the Dentist now! Good luck!

I take my son to a dentist office called briargate pediatrics. they are on the north side of town, but worth the drive! I live on the south side and drive up there because its so great. dr Souza is great with the kids, and he eplins everything that is going on with your child. My son had some issues when he was about 3-4 yr old and it had me so stressed I thought I was gonna have a breakdown. His staff were so great to me, they are very sweet and good with the kids also. I had a death in the family and needed to cancel my sons appt at the last minute. A few days later I get a sympathy card from his office in the mail! They are wonderful, I highly recommend his office.

Here is Dr. Callahan's information:
Callahan Clinton DMD
6475 Wall Street Suite 150
Colorado Springs, CO
###-###-####

He is on the SW corner of Dublin & Academy.

I live between Old Colorado City and Garden of the Gods on the west side, and he is so worth the drive. He is gentle, warm and friendly.

When my son was 15 mos, I had to take him to a dentist and Dr. Callahan was the *only* dentist that would allow me to go back in the exam room with my son. Even now that my boys are 4 and 5 years old, I go back when they have their exams.

He has a fantastic staff. Imagine my surprise when my 3 year old sat there and let the hygienist not only clean but also floss his teeth.

I highly recommend him!
