Need a Great Dentist

Without a doubt it's Dr. Helen Ragsdale. Someone else recommended her already, but I second that!!

I've been going to her for about 19 years and won't let anyone else touch my teeth. I don't really like the dentist, but she's so gentle. You don't even feel the shots! She's awesome and you won't be sorry you went to her. I've recommended her many, many times and she has about 25 loyal patients from me and other friends of mine who all love her.

Drs. Slaughter and Estes at Lakecreek Parkway Dental. The whole staff is friendly and professional, and my husband, who is definately "hesitant" about dentists says they're pretty good, too.

They don't accept children under 3, though. But we like the office so much, we're willing to wait so that our daughter can have the same dentist we do.

A bit of a drive for you, but WONDERFUL! Not only is he the best dentist I've ever been to, but I've known him since I was 12 and he's a great person too. The whole staff is so very nice and friendly-worth the trip!

You should give Dr. Neal Shah at Austin Dental Arts a try! He is in the Mopac/2222 area, so a little bit of a drive for you, but I'm confident that you'll find it to be totally worth the drive. I absolutely love my dentist Dr. Lintakoon. He's in south austin off of Mopac and Bee Caves but definitely worth going. Great dentist and he has a memory like no other. You can go in 6 month later for a cleaning and he can pick up on the conversation where you left off. I've been going to him now for about 8 years and so does everyone in my family (parents, siblings, now my husband, and my son will start going to him pretty soon as well. He takes kids as young as 5. He won't rip you off and pretty gentle. He likes to crack jokes as well. Great atmosphere. I also live in Round Rock but I still will drive down south for my dentist appointments. She also has an office in Round Rock. I have had horrible experiences with dentists. I've lost a tooth due to a root canal that wasn't capped. I've been told I needed fillings when I didn't.

Dr. Ragsdale and her staff are warm, friendly and do everything they can to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

I needed a periodontal cleaning and they gave me booties, blankets, glasses to block the light and encouraged me to bring headphones.

Her chairs are all in rooms for privacy. You see the same technician every time so you have a chance to develop a personal relationship.

The wife, Dr. Jennifer Hoppe, is a pediatric dentist and her husband sees the older patients. They are super friendly and I can't recommend them enough!

I can not brag enough about my dentist and his entire office. I have never NEVER waited more than 10 minutes to be seen, he has meet me on the weekend when my temporary crown fell out and not charged me and I have never even been a tiny bit miffed with anyone there. I have been going to them for about 10years, so does my husband, and now my kids. I live in NE RR and tried to find someone new when I moved up here b/c I used to live in S. Austin and that's where he is but I learned it is worth the drive 2-3x a year, besides it is very close to Central Market where I love to shop. Dr. Baines ###-###-####. You have a lot of referrals, but I couldn't pass up the chance to brag on them. I get frustrated with other dr.'s now b/c I know that a long wait and impersonal service is not "how it is" or at least how it has to be. Good luck wherever you go.
