I'm here again asking about potential swimming classes . . .private or in groups. Thanks to all of you who responded to my last question about possible park districts that offer these lessons. Well, when I tried the parks they told me I waited too late in the summer for swimming classes. So, after more research I found Chicago Swim School in Arlington Hts. If anyone has heard about this school please respond. I'm really trying to get my 3 yr. old in these classes. I'm more eager now than ever. Here's the reason why: She's currently in Disney World with her oldest sister celebrating her 3rd birthday--she made 3 yesterday. They were out by the pool and she just decided to jump into 13 feet deep water and went all the way to the bottom and floated to the top to begin swimming. She was rescued with no injuries (thank God), but she was crying because she wanted to go back in to start swimming. I than felt like I had a female Michael Phelps in the works! Any offers or recommendations would be great! Love ya's!!

My friend Rob owns the Chicago Swim School. He's a very patient person, and really knows his stuff when it comes to swimming. If it were closer to me, I would be going there!

I have a website, www.kidwinks.com, that lists all sorts of things to do with their kids, including a Services section with classes, camps, etc. for kids. Chicago Swim School is listed on our site, and is very highly rated by our members. I was pretty sure Elk Grove Park Districk had fall/winter swimming lessons at their indoor pool.
