Can Anyone Recommend a Good Ob/Gyn That Deals with High Risk Pregnancies?

I'm looking for a good Ob/Gyn that has privileges at Baylor Dallas. I'm considered high risk so I need someone that deals with high risk patients.

What can I do next?

I highly recommend Dr Sandra Brothers. She is located right on the Baylor campus & has helped me tremendously after a miscarriage this past spring. We are now 7.5 months pregnant and all is well.
She is very thorough & takes every precaution with great bedside manner. I could not say enough good things about her practice & staff.
Good luck!!

Dr. Rosnes also delivered my twins who were high risk. I was on hospital bed rest from week 16 on. They were delivered at 28 weeks and are now healthy 4 year olds!

I must say I am a bit irritated with all the reccomendations for Doctors in Plano and Las Colinas. If you are high risk you cannot drive all over the metroplex!

I also highly recommend practice of Dr. Brothers and Dr. Crochet (info. listed below in previous recommendation). They also coordiated my care with Dr. Rosnes when I was pregnant (did some testing just because of my age) and he was great too.

Hi S.,
I am so excited you posted this question. I have been a nurse at Baylor Dallas for 15 years. I live in Carrollton, but had all three of my Babies at Baylor Dallas. All were high risk and I also had a history of miscarriages prior to my first baby. My doctor is Dr. Glen Heckman, there have already been posts for his group. His group has two offices, one just across the street from Baylor Dallas (you can walk from the office to labor and delivery) and they have a satellite office at Baylor Frisco along with priviledges to deliver there too. Most of the nurses I work with use this group and most choose Dr. Heckman. He as a phenomenal bedside manner and is an extremely caring physician. If you live in North Dallas, they can follow you in Frisco and then deliver you downtown at Baylor Dallas. The office number is###-###-####. HIs group is OBGYN Associates of Dallas (Dr. Heckman, Dr. Harris, Dr. Ehmer). Good Luck and feel free to send me a message if you have any more questions or want more details of their care.

Hi S.,
Dr. Kyle Matthews in plano is great!!

I would call the Woman's Health Alliance in Baylor. I use Dr. James T Norwood and had two C-sections. EVERY doctor in the group is amazing!!

I would never go to anyone except for Dr. Audrey Graham. I am a childbirth doula and mother of 2 (high-risk pregnancies) and hands down she will deliver. Her personality isn't for everyone, but at the end of the day you and your baby will be in excellent hands.

Dr. Sandra Brothers or Dr. Melissa Crochet at OB/Gyn of Dallas, they practice together in the same office in the Landry center right on the Baylor Dallas Campus.

I had a pretty complicated pregnancy and they took great care of me.

While I was hospitalized during my pregnancy, I was also seen by Dr. John Rosnes (specializes in Maternal-Fetal Medicine which is high risk) who worked together with Dr. Brothers on me-he has an office in the hospital but I believe he also sees outpatients-his offsite office address is 8160 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 210, Dallas, TX 75231,Phone: ###-###-####. Hope this helps! Good luck!
