This might be a little TMI but i am pregnant with my 2nd baby and i have noticed sometime when i lift my leg up from taking a pair of jeans off i will get this pelvic pressure and a little pain and i have to grab my vagina and then when i put my leg back down it goes away. Or just sometimes when i move a certain way i will have the pressure and pain feeling as well. So i took a mirror and looked at my vagina and noticed right above the clit there is a big purple vein and it looks like there is a lump or knot under the skin and the knot/lump isn't hard or anything its just bulging out there with this dark purple vein. And i realized thats the same place i have to grab my self when i get that pressure and pain feeling. Im 23 weeks pregnant and i never had this with my 1st baby. I go to my ob this coming up friday and wonder if anybody knows what this is?? Thank so much:)

What can I do next?

I had the same bump in the same spot with my third pregnancy. I had my doc look at it just to be safe but it was a only a varicose vein. My daughter is 2 wks old and the bump is gone.

sounds like a painful varicose vein, it happens during pregnancy... no fun! but shouldn't be a problem worth worrying about.

I wonder if it is a broken blood vessel. I would call my OB and just ask a nurse or ask them at your next visit. It sounds familiar like I have heard of it happening before. good luck

I had the same exact thing when i was prego----talk to your doctor about it-they will give you suggestions on making it feel better. I know it hurts! I feel for you....this will pass....
