Breast Changes During Pregnancy?
I am 20 weeks along in my second pregnancy. I get a lot of discomfort in my left breast, along with some shooting pain that goes all the way to the muscle. I also get alot of burst blood vessels. But I only get this in my left one. I haven't had any issues with my right one. But what I find strange is that my right one is suddenly about 1-1.5 cup sizes bigger than my left one... They were pretty much even before, and during my first pregnancy. Will this go away afterwards or will the other one fill in?
What do you think?

My only pregnancy, I had similar shooting pains. Then I started leaking breastmilk around 25 weeks or so. Could it be your body getting ready? Anyway, you should mention it to your doctor. So many hormonal changes you'll just want to be sure everything is okay. Good luck

I am not sure about the difference in size but when I was pregnant with my son I had mastitis (sp?) blocked milk ducts. My dr said it is not very common in pregnant women but more so in nursing women. He put me on antibiotics. I would call your OB on Monday just to make sure that you don't have an infection.

I would really ask for an ultrasound by a doctor who does mammograms. You don't have to have a mammogram (ouch!), but they can do a painless ultrasound. I would not take "oh, don't worry about ti" for an answer.
Get the ultrasound.

I would say talk to your doc about the pain. As for size, I had one that was bigger my 2nd time around and my son is 3.5 now. One is still a bit bigger, but they are finally balancing out. I also noticed that I produced more on that side.
A friend was lopsided by about 2 sizes with her first pregnancy. I also had another friend whose feet were different sizes after her first pregnancy. So many changes and unfortunately, the changes aren't always symmetrical.
Good luck and congrats!
