OK, I'm sure this has been asked a lot. I'm looking for someone in the Johnson County area that does birtday cakes. I'm not really wanting to do the grocery store thing. My daughter is getting ready to have her first birthday, and would like to do something different. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a great cake lady. I printed a picture of a cake off of the internet and she replicated it perfectly! She's very reasonable. Her name is Michelle Canning ###-###-####. You can tell her Jeni gave you her name. She knows me well. I order every event's cake from her. She's located in Western Shawnee, off of Shawnee Mission Pkwy and 435.

I don't know anyone, BUT, the baker at the 119th & Roe Hen House does these remarkable animal cakes that are like NOTHING you've ever seen at a grocery store. They are not shaped like regular cakes, either. If sweet or funny animals would amuse your daughter, you might want to take a look.
