Big Blocks for Boys

So we had a yard sale and sold all the toys that no one plays with. Now I am seeking something to buy in thier place. I have 3 boys 6-2years. They love to build houses and forts. We have some of the pop up tent things but I was wondering if anyone had anything that was like a huge oversize block. Since there is a little brother he knocks over the forts they have been making with blankets etc. Obviously the cardboard blocks are out since they will be destroyed in a minute or so. I was thinking of looking in the school catalogs but wanted the mama's advice before I start looking.
Thank You!!

What can I do next?

Typically, anything can be knocked down by a child. Even if it is interlocking.
Even a chair can be knocked down. For example.

I have a boy, and he can knock down anything.

I just did a search an Amazon (trying to find the giant tinker toys I had when I was little). Couldn't find those, but I did find something called Toobeez, which I know nothing about. Check these out:

There are a lot of different sets available. Not cheap, but if your boys will use them a lot, they're probably worth the money.

Day cares have the cardboard blocks for years and they withstand rough play. I suggest that they're sturdier than they would seem to be.

If you had a block that size in wood it would be heavy. I do know that they make them because the YMCA after school care has them. Have you looked on the Internet?

Your little one will still knock the fort over even with wood blocks. That is one of the fun things the kids do in the Y's day care.

Here is one site. These blocks are similar to the ones that the Y has. The difference is that these are hollow.
