I'm wanting to purchase a juicer but not sure on the best kind. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

If I had the money I would definitely get a VitaMix. No question. You put the whole food in it, and you get all of the fiber. They are awesome...but pricier.

We got a juicer from walmart for $50. Its hamilton beach and got great reviews on their website. We are very happy with it and it cost a lot less than others.

the Vita mix is no doubt the best, but very expensive. We did not like the Jack Lalanne juicer, the shoot is much smaller than they claim it to be on tv. we found a L'Equip which does a decent job online. There is a good site to do comps at http://www.bestjuicers.com/ I would consider the l'equip, the breville or the vitamix
