We are looking for a GOOD gymnastics school for my 8 year old. She wants to go to Everybody Fits in Coppell, but I'm not sure I want to drive that far. Any reccommendations? We've tried ASI and don't like their teaching style.

So What Happened?

We went to Southlake Gymnastics for a year and my girls enjoyed it. However, one of them decide to start cheer, we moved her to Altitude Cheer in Fort Worth-Keller and she is over the moon. We're very happy with the staff and the skills she's learned.

Someone else mentioned Empire Gymnastics in Euless. I agree. We LOVE it. My daughter is on the competitive team and we could not be happier. Coaches really care about the individual athlete and are VERY professional but personal at the same time. In a sport that requires quite a bit of money and time, Empire just get it.

Michelle, Is your daughter wanting to just take a few classes or is she wanting to join a team and start compeating. My daughter has been in gymnastics for about ten years and there are definately two paths to go.

I started taking my 2 year old to a Mommy & Me Tumbling class at Flips for Fun in Keller off of Denton Hwy and Kroger and she LOVES it! You said your daughter is 8, which is a big difference from 2, but they have programs for all ages and the instructors are awesome! You should check it out!

We love Flips for Fun! They are more individualized and really work on gymnastics stuff. My daughter loves it. She'd go every day if they had it. They have classes for all ages. They also have cheerleading classes. Ms.Amy is wonderful with the kids. It's off of Denton Hwy/377 and Kroger Rd. in Keller.
