What products have you used and loved or hated? I'm stopping by the drugstore today and need a few personal reviews please.

So What Happened?

I looked for reviews in the Mamapedia deal and they were all great. I ordered that but think I will get the Crest White Strips to whiten now while I'm waiting for the other to ship. I'm sorta impatient!

Baking Soda - Twice a week until you have desired results, then once a week. You can do the same with Hydrogen Peroxide, I prefer baking soda - as well Salt water rinse at night.

I got my teeth whitened at the office for $200 several years back (um....8?). As part of the package they took molds of my teeth and made 2 trays for me. Not for use then, but in 1-2 years when the bleaching would start to wear off / aka staining would start to show again. I now use the trays for 1 month every year. The little syringes of gel cost $10 for 2 (a month's supply for daily use).

My STBX husband, otoh, uses the grocery store kind... he's spent about $100 a year for 8 years in $20 increments. Mine worked and works soooooo much better!!! And the overall cost is sooooo much less!

I saw the Mamapedia sweet deals for the professional at home whitening kit on here for $39 and was thinking about trying it. Its about same price as regular ones but should work better.

I've been using the Crest whitening toothpaste for a few weeks, and my dentist noticed the difference. She was quite impressed, but the only thing is that I have a slight overlap with 2 of my front teeth, so there is one little area on my tooth that just CAN'T get whitened (unless I first straighten my teeth).

I have been using Crest White Strips since they were mail order only and have enjoyed the improvements and decrease in price over the years (the newest ones provide enough for a years worth of treatments).

I'm kind of a nut about having white teeth...I even went to one of those Zoom - 1 hour whitening places a few years back that say they can whiten up to six shades. They told me they couldn't work on me because I wouldn't notice any difference.

I always use Crest Whitening toothpaste as well. Good luck!

I make a paste of baking soda and peroxide and brush my teeth with it every few weeks.

I like the Crest whitestrips. They have different levels and I get the better one. My teeth aren't perfect straight so to avoid missed spots, I take a tooth pick and press the strip into all areas. Works great and I have a nice white smile. You will be happy you did it.
