Art Lessons
Does anyone know of any place for children to take art lessons. I remember taking oil painting classes as a child and loving it.

My son used to take lessons at the rec center. He took a "Messy Marvins" class and some others. It was a blast!!

There is a place called Art Smart (I think) on Park Row near Bowen Road. I think the children have to be in kindergarten or older to take lessons there. There are also a few classes at the Recreation Centers.
Hope that helps!

I have also heard of the classes Terah has mentioned... they seem to be quite reputable. If you have trouble finding them let me know I might be able to track it down for you... have cousins that attend.

We love Studio Arts in East Dallas. It is so worth the drive. They have the most amazing classes for ages 3-adult. Their teachers are amazing. My daughter was doing oils, clay, pastels, watercolors,...everything...huge pieces of work when she was 4. Amazing things! Check it out! www.studioartsdallas.com
