I went through CCCC and earned my certificate. I have been working for over 4 years. I only work part time since my kids are priority #1. I am an independent contractor and set my own hours. The lady I am contracted through is the best and understands about family life.
Call CCCC and see what they offer now. Most all classes are online. I actually got my job through one of my professors before I was even out of school.

Hi-
I have a friend who is a MT. She went to CCCC. Call up any community college and they can tell you what classes are needed to become certified. It takes about a year. For on-line legit schools, she recommends Andrews or M-TEC. Good luck!

Before starting with WorkAtHomeUnited.com/jobs I looked into Medical Transcription, I was desperate to leave my teaching career to be home to raise my children, I found that so many were scams and even the legit ones could not guarantee any kind of work after you pay the money to train.
For 4 years now I have been setting appts with moms who come through my work at home united website and I have talked with many who say the same thing about medical transcription, they lost time and money. I have not heard from anyone who actually got a job with it.
Good luck and be careful,
M.
