Anyone Have Feedback for Sunshine House?

I am planning on sending my 11 month old daughter to the Sunshine House on Roswell Road part-time and was hoping to get some feedback from anyone who's had their child(ren) there before. Also, any other recommendations for daycares (home or centers) in the Sandy Springs area or even Smyrna? I live in one but commute to the other so if a place was highly recommended, I'd surely check it out.
Thanks so much!
A.

What can I do next?

Hi A.,
I actually have both my kids at the Sunshine House, 2 1/2 girl and 3 month old boy (he just started this week). I have been pretty happy with it. I had my daughter in Open Arms on Roswell Rd for a few weeks before the sunshine house and hated it. I had several problems with them and pulled her out, she ended up at the sunshine house because they had space quickly. She has learned a lot there but my main complaint is they do seem to pack the classrooms. I don't know if you have noticed but there isn't much daycare in that area. I found one in-home close and the women was crazy. Personally I had better daycare for the same price in the suburbs. My daughter was at an Open Arms in Alpharetta (where I work) for the first 8 months and I loved them, but the comute got too bad. I wouldn't rave about the sunshine house, but at the same time all daycare is hard. I know several people in the neighborhood talk about the Lutheran Church near Glenridge - although they do have a long waiting list. I am curious what other responses you get, if any one tells you about other daycares in the area, would you forward me the interesting ones? or if you have any more questions. ____@____.com
thanks,

My niece goes to the Sunshine House on Warsaw Rd. and the whole family loves it!! I don't know anything about it but I can probably get you in touch w/my SIL if you have any questions about the one on Warsaw Rd. Just in case you don't know it is in Roswell!

Hello
I recently started my 2 yr. old twin sons at a new day care
on Rosweel Rd and Merritt. It is about 1 mile east of the "Big Chicken".
It is called A Child's Place of Cobb.
57 Merritt St.

My boys don't cry when I drop them off here. They cried everyday that I dropped them off at the other daycare we were using. Now they are excited to "go to school".
Thanks,
H.

My name is A. and I live in the Norcross/ Duluth area and have two children (age 1 yrs old and 3 years old) You may want to look at this website, type in the county that you live in and they will show a list of daycare centers and you will be able to view any complaints they have had as well as their reports from the state when they were monitored/ review.
The web address is www.decal.state.ga.us
Click at the top (child care services)...the click on the right hand side (search fro child care centers)...Good luck and hope that I helped out a great deal.

My husband works in Sandy Springs and several of his co-workers highly recommend Apostles Learning Center, which is a church based daycare that came to me highly recommended. You might want to check it out..I talked to one women who is very happy with this place
