Hi,

I'm sorry but I do not have experience with Jenny Craig but saw where you work from home and help other mom's do the same. I am looking for this type of work. I am a mother of a 9 month old baby girl. She is my world and I dont want to see her being raised by someone else. Thanks for your help.

Granted it has been several years, but I thought JC was the best!!
The food was delish, the counseling supportive and easy to follow program rules. I got to my half way mark and they started teaching us how to stop relying on their packaged foods, and it was easy too.
I thought it was expensive, and if you are wondering if JC or Nutrasystem is better, know that they are basically the same program, because JC and her hubby went into business with the owner couple of NS and ended up parting ways. Therefore two companies, same program, different names.
Good Luck with this, only wish I could afford it again (after 15 years, and two kids, I lost (I mean gained) it all back!!)
By the way, can you get me info on the WAHM program you do? Thanks

My mom and my grandmother both tried this in the past and it wasn't very successful for them. They did lose some weight on it, but it doesn't teach you anything or change any of your habits. As soon as they got off the diet, they immediately went back to their old habits and put all the weight back on, maybe even more.

My mom had a lot of success with L.A. Weight Loss because it is more of a lifestyle change kinda thing. She lost about 70 lbs on it and kept it off for quite awhile. (She's gained some of it back now due to major emotional issues and returning to her old ways of finding comfort in food) She even reviewed the plan with her doctor and he gave it a rave review and took info to recommend it to other patients. But I will warn you that it is rather expensive.

Weight Watchers can be a good one because it helps you focus more on making better food choices and changing your habits without having a very strict plan to follow. And it's a little more affordable.

Also, I recently purchased a copy of the book "The Best Life Diet" and it really had some valuable info to help you change your habits and lose weight the right way and keep it off. I just haven't been very motivated to discipline myself lately.

Hope you find something that works for you.

I tried it and didn't lose much weight on it, but did lose inches. I would have kept at it to see how well I could do, but the cost was just too much. Their food tastes great, but it was hard to justify $5-7 per entree when I could get a Lean Cuisine at Wal-Mart for $2.

I am currently on it! I have been on Weight Watchers, Atkins, Southbeach, etc ... this one (because of my hectic lifestyle as well - I am a Realtor) has been PERFECT for me - I have not had anything yet I have not liked to eat, I love that I don't have to think about it, weigh it, portion it, etc - I just look and see what I am supposed to have and do it. My consultant is the BEST as well and has been very motivating to me. If you are near Custer and 121 I would recommend Kristi Smith for that location!

Try Weight Watchers its a life style change and really easy!!! It works and i'm doing it! Go to there website weightwatchers.com for more info. seriously you will lose 8lbs a week easy and if not you will lose weight no matter what! It will also teach you how to make this a life change which is what you need to keep the weight off and best of all you dont have to give up your favorite foods you just have to learn to cut back. They also have alot of great products and easy tools to help you! You can buy there foods and other foods that have weight watcher versions at your local grocery store. Good luck!

I personally think that Weight Watchers is the better plan. You eat real, everyday grocery store food and it really works if you follow the plan.
I would also like to talk to you more about working from home.
Thanks,
J.

I have used Jenny Craig. It works great. I lost 10 pounds in 6 weeks right after my baby (which is what my goal was), my husband lost 20 pounds in 6 weeks (men!). I have several friends who have lost over 20 pounds on the program. I have been on maintenance for a year now. The food is relatively good, and the best part is that it is a no brainer. You just eat their food!
