Hey Moms, I fingured I would ask around and see if any of you guys have ever used the Nuvaring before and then come off it? I took out my last ring on March 21st and got my period right away. I ended up not putting in a new one on the 28th like I was supposed to so I was going to wait till I got my period again and then start using the ring again. But, I havent gotten my period yet and now its April 20th.. I was using the ring for a total of 5 months..so not too long, I didnt have any side effects or anything, actually i liked it alot. My question is: have anyone that has stopped using the ring had any side effects or had their period be late for the 1st month after?? I used to get my period every 26-27 days after my period would start and its been like 29-30 days since i got my period after taking out the ring the last time...should I be concerned or is that normal??
It made my periods screwy when I went off it (for a few months) and then took me a little over a year to get pregnant after stopping using it. I think it does some weird things with your hormones... it certainly did in my case.
I was on the Nuvaring for a few years. I got off of it and five minutes later I was preggo with my daughter. My hubby and I thought it would take longer, boy were we in for a shock. Maybe you should get a test done.

I am a NuvaRing user or was, but am now trying to conceive. My first period after going off the ring came 7 days late. I am currently waiting for it to come again on Saturday. So we will see if I become regular this time.

I was pregant IMMEDIATELY after going off of it. You could be pregnant. I would take a test.
I had forgotten to put my next ring in so was going to wait and put it in after my next period. I ended up pregnant! We couldn't believe it. We were trying to be carefull and use condoms, but there were other plans for us. I would take a test! Good luck!

I was on the nuva ring for almost 6 years, went off it for a month and got pregnant! we had planned on trying, but figured it would take a bit longer than 1 month. Take a test and good luck either way:)
There is good chance you are pregnant! I got pregnant IMMEDIATLEY after stoping the ring!! It might be too early for a test to show positive yet, but go ahead and take one of the early response tests!
