Anxious About Success of Vasectomy Reversal

Well, my husband, who is 53, had 2 vasectomies and has a 7 1/2 month old daughter and never had the reversal. I have 4 step sons ranging in age from 31-24 and three step grandkids. I am only 29. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love that man with all of my being. He doesn't believe in pain of any kind only pleasure; he doesn't believe in force either. Try to stay unstressed. I was extremely stressed out when i got pregnant with my youngest, so to get the positive pregnancy tetst result was a shock all by itself. Remember that God will see you through all of this and the end result with be worth it.

my brother-in-law had a reversal and after he had it all him and my sister-in-law had to do was think about getting pregnant and they would! they have had 3 beautiful boys since his reversal! good luck to you!

My brother had a reversal and they had a healthy baby boy who is now 5yrs old. They are talking about having another reversal cause he's wife's decided one baby isn't enough. Hope this helps you.

My girlfriend was in the same situation, same age as you too. Her husband was 47 when he had the reversal. They had one relatively tramatic miscarriage (her first attempt at pregnancy, she was 8 wks. along). They tried again (her 32 and him 49) and are now parents of twins - one of each!! Just keep positive and follow the doc's instructions. Good luck!!

Hey i have reversal when i was 34 yrs old. I had my tubes clicked , cut , burnt. My husband now had no kids, we went to a Dr. in wichita kansas and i was told after surgery i had 60 percent of getting pregant and guess what we tried for 2 years and we did test tube , and temp taking and so on, then my Dr. decided to put me on the feridlty pill and guess what it worked i was pergant and we had a healthy baby boy. So if you really want baby go for it and try but dont get depressed if it dont work quick give it time and your Dr. will know what to do. Your husband might have to take some kind of pills to help but i am not sure about what they do for guys,i only know it what a women goes through sorry that is all the help i can give you. Hea B., try looking up on the internet about the reversal. Put in vasectomy or go to medical issues. I wish y ou well and good luck. I will pray about this tonight and God will take care of this situation for you, so don't worry, He does what's meant!

Hello, I am new to the site and I love what I have seen so far, When I saw your letter I had to respond, My dad had a vasectomy in 1971 before he and my mom divorced, After he and my stepmom got married in 1974 they decided that they wanted a child in 1986 as she had never had any children, They both went in the same week and had reversals done, 3 months later we got a phone call that we were gonna have a new brother or sister, We all were so excited, This was 19 years ago and they have had 3 kids now, It's kinda weird for me because the youngest is 14 months older than my oldest daughter.
