I am 5 months pregnant with my 2nd child and I am just starting to look into finding an affordable yet loving and nurturing environment for my baby. I plan to return to work after my maternity leave (3mths). I had the help of my parents in looking after for my first child but I do not have that help now. I am very concern about leaving a 3mths old baby in the hands of strangers. I live around Plano Presby. Please let me know if any of you out there know or heard of any reputable centers that I can check out.

What can I do next?

M., congrats on your new baby!

The thing is, there is no such a thing as affordable and quality in Plano - you can only have one or the other. Searching for daycare centers is really exhausting, I ended up sending my kids to the daycare that's really good quality and changed a few life style to be able to afford it.

Good luck!

Hi M.,

With leaving a child that young in the hands of a stranger, I would make sure you pick a place where you can see online what your baby is doing. My sisters friend chose a daycare center that had 24 hr surveillance available for her to log online at anytime and watch what her baby was doing. She LOVED being able to do that and EVEN being able to watch from work, she would still see her baby not being treated the right way at times. I hope you find a loving place, I'm a SAHM so I don't have any good options for you. It would be good if you could find someone in your family that is able to help but if you can't, just make sure you do your research very good before leaving your baby.
Take care and good luck!

I would look into Primrose School of Forest Creek on Coit and Hedgcoxe. This is a great school and my baby has been going there since he was 6 weeks old. They have a great curriculum and the teachers are top notch and have been there a long time. The number is ###-###-####. Good Luck with your search!
