Advice on Inflatable Bouncers

My nephew has one and his family love having it for when his friends visit. Theirs is a couple years old now and still going strong! It is a great way to excersise and entertain the kis at the same time! Make sure kids remove their shoes to reduce damage and always supervise them for safety, of course.

Those bouncers are great I have one and I'm a mother of a 2 and 6 year old. I had the same problem for my oldest sons birthday when he was turning 2. I didn't want to rent so I bought one, and we use it for ever occasion. I even blow it up for them to just play in. This summer was wonderful for them to enjoy it. I've never had any problems with it, and the've never gotten hurt in it. It is truly worth the money, so I'd say buy one and let them go wild.

I can say we have had no problems with it. All seams appear fine blower works great. My kids are soon to be 5 and 2.5yrs old and love it. We do have slight run in one of the nettings and have had to "sew" it up and it is holding just fine. But it wasn't a manufacturing flaw, it happened last summer when a friend of the neighbors (7yr old) was jumping at the nets and some how it happened. It was long off warranty so we just fixed it our selves.

We got it as an alternative to a fixed play structure. Most of our play is done in our front yard and didn't want to look at swing set. This we can put up and take down as needed. As far as set up and take down it is easier with 2 people but often I do it myself. I would recommend one of their wheeled bags as it is quite heavy. We don't use it as often as we planned but it still gets put up 2-3time per month.

We purchased one of these at Christmas for our little boys (one who turns 4 in September) and we really like it. The one we have is by Little Tykes and has a 250 pound maximum, so an adult can go in with him if he wants. To lessen the risk of tears we have a "no shoes" policy. Also, we put it on a tarp on the grass. We use the tarp so that any random sticks or rocks on the grass that we don't see hopefully won't poke it. Also, we don't put it on concrete. One word of advice: on the one we have (which I assume is similar to the one you're looking at--same manufacturer) there is a mesh opening in the back which has velcro to close the opening. Make sure the velcro is secure to close the mesh opening. Our son was jumping wildly and almost fell out because we didn't velcro the back.

Since we haven't had any problems with it, we haven't experienced problems with the warranty. But, if you get a few uses out of it the investment is certainly cheaper than renting one each time. So, you aren't really out that much money in the long run.

I am the mother of four, ranging in age from 5-20. Every 2-3 years I buy a large bounce house from costco. We use it on our back lawn almost every day of summer. I'm careful to fold it up each evening and take it off the lawn for watering, etc. The only time I've had tears is when I've used it on our driveway. I think they're amazing toys and so much fun for the whole family. So much safer than a trampoline (sp). When I do get a slight tear, I just use duct tape to cover it up and am well aware that ever few years we'll be getting a new one and selling the old one on craigslist for next to nothing. I highly recommend buying one. I always buy from Costco, I've never checked out what Little Tykes has...but you can even get a great one from Walmart online and have it delivered. I've never had one that I was disappointed in and we've had about 5 so far. They're fabulous toys. I just recommend using it in the backyard to avoid the entire neighborhood showing up and all the liability involved with the unwanted guests!
