Thinking head for my 3 yo daughter's B-day party in January. We live in Michigan and I would like to avoid Chuck E Chesse and also looking for an affordable place/venue/idea.Looking at Oakland County Area- Oak Park/Slfd etc
Any ideas!
And by the way-she loves My LIttle Pony and Minnine Mouse.

Grab a MetroMoms magazine or whatever they are called from the entry way at Panera. They have all kinds of ads for local places where you can host bday parties. There is some princess type castle place on Van Dyke or Mound near 24 mile that does tea parties for little girls. Also the Friendship Factory in Partridge Creek might do her age group. We went to a party there. Pretty cute.
We just did a Build-a-Bear party for my daughter's 4th birthday. It's really affordable, and you don't have to do goody bags (hooray!)- everyone goes home with a new stuffed animal. Our Build-a-Bear is in the mall and doesn't have a party room (some do), so we just headed over to McDonald's in the food court afterwards for lunch and birthday cake. It was a hit!
Gymnastic places are always fun inside places for birthdays and 3 years old is a great time to have one there. And I agree, no Chuck E Cheese ;)
Do you have children's gyms near you? Out here, we have Gymboree, My Gym, and The Little Gym that all offer birthday parties. If your child is into crafts, both Michaels and Jo-Ann Craft stores do parties.
