I am currently 29 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I find I am feeling way more braxton hicks contractions with this one than I remember with my first. I have read that apparently its common to feel them more with each pregnancy which is fine but all night now I have noticed that I have that uncomfortable feeling associated with the contractions but obviously its not a constant contraction. I know I had one about 30 mins ago and since then it feels like I its been a constant contraction. I know its not labour because they are not painful and there is no rhyme or reason to them but I am just overall uncomfortable
Does anyone know what this is or if they have any experience with this
Thanks in advance

What can I do next?

Hhhmmm, premature labor does not feel like term labor.

Please drink a lot of water and see the doc ASAP.

I agree with the dehydration, I'm down to 65 days till my due date and I have this tight all over my tummy region feeling almost every evening. it comes on out of the blue and seems to last for an hour or more, rather than be a normal contraction and go away and start again. It is actually painful at times but mostly just tight and uncomfortable. water helps.

Eat a small snack, drink some water and/or juice and maybe relax on the couch or bed for a bit (lay on your right side).

I say this because that is what they had me do when I experienced something similiar...it could be a sign of slight dehdration.

When I was 37 weeks I swore I was going into labor and had intense "contractions" all day long to the point where I couldn't walk without hunching over. They were irregular and didn't last the amount of time they were supposed to to call anyone. After drinking a lot of water, resting and pooping, they stopped and I didn't feel them again until I was induced at 40+ weeks. My husband tried to tell me that they weren't contractions, but when I saw my doctor that week, I had dilated more, and when I was in actual labor it was a more intense feeling than those contractions I felt, but very similar.

I just read that you were only 29 weeks. Call your dr and see what he wants you to do.

I had these with my second all the time, especially when I stood more than 30 minutes or walked. I didn't know they were Braxton-Hicks. I just assumed it was normal preg pain. My doc told me what they were and said that if I wasn't sure if they were the "real" thing, I should drink 12 oz of water and lay down for 1 hour. If they do not change, they are probably the real thing. If they become more comfortable or stop, they are BH. Real contractions aren't affected by position or drinking.
