My favorite thing to do for Father's Day gifts is to do something that really shows him tender moments of being a father. Last year I had a photo taken when my third child was born of him and his two boys looking over her and blew it up to poster size in black and white. It wasn't a professional photo is was a snapshot. Then I framed it in a really nice frame. It was incredible, he even cracked a tear.

I went to one of those paint your own ceramics places and did my son's handprints on a coffee mug and snack bowl for my husband. He really loves those two dishes.

Money was tight when my daughters were small. (My daughters are now a High School graduate and a senior for 2009-10 year)We made best kids and grand daughters hats We put a current picture of the kids on them. Wrote with Fabric paint on them. My friend put her kids foot prints on the shirt and said my grand kids walk all over me. Good Luck

My husband always likes it when I give him pictures. I have done scrapbook pictures which is always fun. You can get 4x6 pictures printed pretty cheap at Sams Club or Costco. I have also seen footprints or handprints done on a wash cloth. If you did that, then you could frame it and give to him. Good Luck

Hey, For my husbands first fathers day I got an engraved pocketwatch that has a spot inside for a picture. It was about $30 from Things Remembered. The website is www.thingsremembered.com and he loves it. you can add your own personal message on it. Hope this helps!!!

I went to the craft store and found a frame with three photo openings in it, a 5x7 in the middle and 4x6 on the sides.

I put a picture of my daughter in the middle and used a black ink pad and put her handprints in the two pictures on the sides. Then across the top of the matte I put the words "I love you this much!" He LOVED it.

I also went to the bookstore and bought him a daddy-themed story book. He loves ready stories at bedtime to my daughter and she loves to read with him. I decided to make it a tradition to get a new book for him to read to our kids every year. The one I bought last year was "Daddy Hug" and it is SO cute and my daughter loves it. She requests it all the time.

Any local bookstore will likely have a father's day selection pulled so you'll have lots to choose from and browse, if you're not sure what you're looking for.

Have fun!
