food or candy! You can take pretzel logs and dip the ends into chocolate, cover with sprinkles and let dry.. then put in small bags (found at ac moore or michaels).. you can do the same with two marshmallows stuck on the end of a stick..

Are you throwing a huge party for your son that really requires party favors? Maybe like movie tickets or starbucks gift cards...

My son was just 9 and he had a Paintball party..so I went o Party City and got Plastic army drinking cups...then I filled each with an army pencil, a package of Cheese Its, a Rice Krispie Treat, a Ring Pop, and from those 10 packs so the small pieces 1 Almond Joy and 1 Twix bar. Then I wrapped them in cellophane...the kids really liked them, and it didn't look baby-ish handing them a party bag.

But I would go by the party theme and how you are celebrating (which is how I usually choose)....beach balls, wiffle balls and bats...and I would go by what your son likes!

I don't really do parties and favors anymore for my teen but if I did, I'd probaby get Itunes, movie theater or Blockbuster gift cards.
Is it for a birthday party, or a Bar Mitzvah?

I don't think 13 year olds should get favors anymore.
