Anyone Have "My 1St Leappad" or "Leapster"...Which Is Better for a 3 Year Old?

My son is almost 3 and I was thinking about getting him "My 1st Leappad" or the Leapster (for ages 4-8 years.) Which would you reccomend? Thank you so much, T.
