Yoga in DFW?

I am 22 weeks pregnant. I have been reading alot about yoga during pregnancy. It is supposed to be very good for you and your baby. Does anyone know of any yoga centers that offer yoga during pregnancy in the dfw area? Or maybe even some good videos that I could do at home?

What can I do next?

The DVD Yoga Ma Baby Ga is AWESOME!! You can do it before and after you have your baby. Once the baby's here, you do the workout with your baby and the video has bright colors and shapes for the baby to look at. You can get it on ebay or on amazon.com. Lots of fun!!

I recommend the DVD, "Fit Mama" by fitness guru Leisa Hart. It provides an hour-long workout incorporating the principles of yoga for expectant Moms at every stage of pregnancy (1st through 3rd trimester). It is also a great cardio workout. She specifically walks you through the appropriate modification for each exercise dependent upon your stage of pregnancy. This video also includes stretches and exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor and expedite recovery following delivery. I used it up until the date of my delivery and I felt great!

Good luck and God bless!!!

I have seen advertisements for Prenatal Yoga at Lifetime Fitness. I believe that you can take classes even if you are not a member- you will probably have to pay around $10 more for non-member status.

destination maternity has FREE yoga classes.

This is your lucky day http://www.yogastylefitness.com/ My sister in law owns a nutrition store and knows this guy personally. He is starting a new prenatal class soon and you can read about it on the website.
