I recently received a Wii and Wii Fit balance board. What games do you recommend for a 6 year old boy? I am going to look for the Wii Sports/Wii Fit and will also look at some Mario games. Any other games your kids love? Also, any go to places for used games, especially online?

What can I do next?

Anything Lego. Skylanders are huge at our house. The fit is also and the boys love the balance board games (snowball fight, martial arts, bicycling and the obstacle course)
Good used games at gamestop or ebay.
Have fun!

Mario and Sonic at the 2012 Olympics...we just got it, and we absolutely love it. Besides being a well-rounded sports games, it's got some fantasy events, and it also has a version of Mario Party, called London Party, with all kinds of mini games.

All the Mario games are fun, we like Zelda, Spectrobes, and a random assortment of other games. The My Sims games are lots of fun, too, and appropriate for children (where the Sims games are really for adults.)

If you have wireless, make sure you hook up your Wii...there's a free youtube channel, Netflix streaming is only about seven dollars a month and full of great stuff, and you can download a ton of games not available in stores.

Boys tend to like the Lego Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Arc. The Wii sports one is great for jumping around. My daughter loves the karate one on the wii fit.

I have a 7 yr old boy, and a 3 yr old boy. Mario games are their favorite; especially Mario Party, Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers. They also like Wii sports.

Besides from Gamestop, you might try Best Buy, I have been in the store a couple of times and they have a bin set up with games and I found some new games for 14.99 and 19.99. Wii resort is another fun one.
I know it's hard to find inexpensive games. Another place you might try is Vintage Stock, they sell new and used games also. Good Luck.
