I delivered at Morton Plant and like everyone else who responded, had a wonderful experience! I also took advantage of some of their childbirth and baby preparation classes. My husband and I went to the "Prepared Childbirth" class and I also sent him to "Daddy Bootcamp." By the way - he thought Daddy Bootcamp was great and a very valuable experience. It's all dads and the ones that lead the class bring their real live babies. My husband got to change a real baby's diaper and get some real life tips from other dads...I think he was more prepared than me!

Great hospital. Love the staff.Delivered 3 times there. Very happy. good luck!

I delivered there 2 yrs ago and it was AWESOME! Everyone was so great and it was really nice having the suite. The only thing that was awful was the food, but that's to be expected:) Good luck and I'm sure that you will love it too!

I delivered at Morton Plant and was really happy there. The nurses were great. My first night, I was finally hungry after a c-section. I had to start off with liquids and the nurse found me some broth and heated that up for me. My 2 1/2 year old daughter didn't want to leave and they also offered to bring up a small bed for her so she could stay. They were great there.

Hello, M.. I delivered three of my four kids at Morton Plant. It was a great experience. I would highly recommand that hospital to every woman giving birth. The nurses make the experience as comfortable as possible. The nurses also make sure that you, baby and all that are involved in the blessed day are aware of what to expect. I give the hospital 2 thumbs up! Congrats!!!!

I did almost 2 weeks ago. I had a great experience. All the staff was very nice and for the most part when you called the nurse for something they came right in. I would definitely deliver there again. Good luck and if yuo have any other questions please feel free to ask!

I have delivered all 3 of my kids there, I really liked the staff each time. The last of my kids was born 3 1/2 years ago and the rooms were really nice, I am sure in that 3 years they have probably done more renovations to make it even nicer.
My sister will be delivering there also, at the end of Sept.

I loved Morton Plant and plan on delivering there again when I have another baby. The birthing rooms are really nice and the staff is great! Plus, if you ask for the "suite" (there is only one so it's first come, first serve, but totally free!) you can have a room with it's own private waiting room for family and friends! That way, they don't have to wait downstairs. I lucked out on my post-delivery room and got a room overlooking the water. And I agree, the lactation consultants are wonderful and SO helpful. The only part I didn't like was the food. It took forever to get to us, and it tasted terrible. So my husband ending up going out and getting all of our meals. But a wonderful experience all around. And they have a FANTASTIC pregnancy yoga and mommy and me yoga class which I really recommend. Great way to meet other moms and bond with your baby at the same time! Good luck!
