Most kids stores often have free paretning magazines & the back pages are full of ads for those type of things. The balls themselve can be bought at Toys R Us and thrown in a kiddie pool too.

Hello
I don't know where to rent a ball pit, but I did have an alternative suggestion. Depending on your finances, you might want to go to My Gym/Little Gym/Gymboree. They are great for that age. Everything is padded and they have ball pits as well as someone to lead the group thru activities.
Just a thought! Good luck and congrats on surviving your 1st year!

Some of the bounce house rental places might offer this as well, you might want to check them out. Also, for my sons first birthday we got a bunch of those cheap plastic pools(from Target, ToysRUs, etc.) and then bought the plastic balls and filled them up. The kids loved it!
Good luck and Happy Birthday!

I think a lot of the bounce house rental places have ball pits to rent as well. A lot of the inflatable pools they rent can be used as ball pits.

I am sure you have gotten lots of advice already, but I will add my two cents anyway :).
A couple of years ago. I had a ball themed party for my then one year old as well. I wasn't happy wit any of the ball pits that I found for sale, so I "made" one by filling a wading pool with ball pit type balls. It worked great and the kids loved it! I think I bought the balls at Toys r us. Good luck, and have fun!
