I am pregnant with baby #2, and I am 10 weeks tomorrow. With my first, I did not show until I was about 18-19 weeks. At that time, I was 5'7" and about 135lbs and wearing a size 6. Currently, I am about 126lbs and wearing a size 2 misses.
I know each pregnancy and each person is different, but just curious when you started showing with baby #2? When did you have to start wearing different clothing? Maternity, etc?
Like my first I didn't really start to show and have a good round tummy until 6 months but I remember starting to wear maternity pants at 21 weeks. Up until then I could still wear my regular pants and I am a small person ( i wear size 0 or 2 in jeans). So not everyone starts to show sooner with the second pregnancy because i know i didn't.
I didn't "reallly" start showing until about 20 weeks... I am 5'10" and 135lbs.. Before that people probably just thought i was bloated lol.. Congrats!
I was much earlier for #2. I've read this is usually the case because baby #1 destroys your abs to some extent, and so there is less resistance to the growing #2. I didn't start showing until, goodness, just about 20-21 weeks with my first baby. With this second one, I've been showing since before 12 weeks. ^_^
If you're very thin to start with, your bump could show quickly...12-14 weeks or so, but if you've got extra weight in your abdomen area, it may not pop out until much later! 5 or 6 months.
I THINK I was later with number 2 than 1, but that may have been that we announced later too. I think I went to maternity pants at about 18-20 weeks. With #1, I think it was at 13-15.
I was a size 2/4 when I started all 4 of my pregnancies. With the first I know I wasn't in maternity pants yet at 14 wks, bc it was Christmas and I know what I wore. With the second I was 16 wks at Christmas and was wearing maternity pants, think I started wearing them around 14 wks. With baby #3 I should have been wearing maternity pants at 12 weeks, but just used a rubber band because I thought it was too early to be so big! I'm now pregnant with my 4th but only 7 weeks, so still wearing my regular clothes. I'm expecting to be into maternity pants before the end of the first trimester. Congrats and good luck!
