What Would a Bumper Sticker Say During the Alamo or When TX Wanted Independence
My daughter has a project due and we need some help. She has to come up with a slogan that would be on covered wagon during the Alamo or when TX wanted their independence from Mexico. We recently moved here from Maine (originally from NY) so I am not familiar with TX history at all and my daughter is having a hard time remembering things they learned, she can't bring her text book home it's not allowed. So if anyone has a clever idea or can point me in the direction of website so we could research I'd appreciate it. TIA
So What Happened?™
My daughter came up with NO,NO Mexico! What do you think?

"Remember the Alamo" was the slogan of the times. Since the Texans were defeated at the Alamo, this was their call to arms.

"The Alamo" a place you'll always remember!
We're from Fl and we are like the one bumper sticker...
we weren't born here but we got here as fast as we could!
good luck
also, my ds said that her book may have a website, that the newer ones have ones for them to use at home.
For what's it's worth, I think the classroom only books are ridiculous.

1.Sam Houston for President.
2.Got Freedom? (like got milk?)
3.Forget the Alamo, remember San Jacinto. (because San Jacinto was the actual battle where Texas defeated Mexico).
But honestly, I actually like your daughters because she came up with it and its cute.
