What Is the Salt Water Solution That Goes in the Netti Pot Nasal Cleanser

I have run out of the little packets that you mix with water for the netti pot, and know that you can make your own solution, but I don't remember what it is. thanks

What can I do next?

I also just use warm water and a pinch of salt. I do get the salt without Iodine which I easily found at Safeway. You'll know if you get too much as it will sting a bit. The Netti Pot is great! I swear by it and think it's saved me from a sinus infection a few times.

My doctor that prescribed a netty pot for my daughter said not to buy the premixed packets to just use warm water and a pinch of salt. It works great.

I use pink hymalayan salt. I let a chunk sit in a jar of water to dissolve. Preferably a tiny bit of salt is still on the bottom, telling me that the solution has taken on as much salt as it can. Than I pour a tablespoon or two of this solution into my neddi and fill with clean water. I find I can test the salinity by taste. It has to be very salty, but not TOO salty. It'll burn if it's too much or even too little salt.

I'm sure there are precise recipes, which may even include more ingredients.

I'd just get some of the salt mix from the health food store. If you don't do it just right you end up causing more issues in the sinus cavities than good.
