My daughter attended PCA in Pantego in her younger years and moved onto Country Day School. Currently, both of my youngest nephews attend GPA in south Arlington off of I-20 @ Park Springs. http://www.graceprep.org/ The youngest is 6 yrs old. He is loving it. His older brother likes the school as well, having attended previous years. As you receive responses from moms, you may want to take a look at a couple of sites on the web, to check the suggested schools ratings, this way as well. www.privateschoolreview.com/ and www.greatschools.net . Best of luck. T. D.

See if The Flint Academy is right for you. It is a wonderful, Christian school for PK through high school in central Arlington (actually in Dalworthington Gardens). It employs the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy, teaches phonics, lots of hands-on-activities, gardening, art, Christian studies, Christian character deveopment, etc. I am a bit biased since it is the school at which I am the director. The website has all the information on tuition, educational school philosophy, etc. www.FlintAcademy.com

We have our son in public school, so I have no first hand experience. However, my nephews go to Oakridge. It is a fantastic school. I have also heard wonderful things about Pantego Christian Academy and Grace Prep. Another option is Arlington Classics Academy, which is a charter school. It is not Christian necessarily, but they do study the classics, which teaches children to reason and think things out.

you can check out Advantage Academy. It is located at 300 W Pioneer Parkway, Grand Prairie. The academy leases the buildings from our church (Fellowship of Joy). I have met the principal and she is a strong Christian lady. It is a charter school so there is no tuition. I don't have the phone number with me right now but will get it on Sunday and post it then. Good luck in your search!!

Tate Springs Christian School on Little Road. The school is all day (Pre-K thru 6th grade) from 8:30a to 3:00p and tuition is very affordable. My older son started there in Pre-K and he loves it. The class sizes are small and all the staff is very caring. With smaller classes, the kids get to do a lot of field trips and projects.
