I was wondering if anyone knew about a good place to take a pre-toddler for fun activites on a saturday or sunday.
Its so hot down here during the summer i would prefer an indoor place.
I discovered a place called MY GYM but they don't have classes for my age range on sat and they are closed sunday.
I'm just not sure at this age what will be a fun day out or what would be too much for my little guy.
Thank you for any suggestions :)

Hi D.. It is hard with a 9 month old in the summer, specially because I beleive Luke is not walking, correct? I have 2 babys (Lisa - 1 year and 1/2; Alex - 3 years old). When they were this age, I used to walk with the stroller, so they coulsd enjoy outside. I suggest you join a Mom's Group in Sunrise. Mom's get together and also organize playgroups according to the age of their babies. I am part of the Plantation group, because I live in Plantation. Contact my group and try to find out about Sunrise group or maybe you can join the Plantation moms group:Plantation Mom group contact-Melody at ###-###-#### or ____@____.com

I attend a music and movement class with my 14 month old and we really love it. They have classes during the week and Saturdays. The instructor, Lourdes, super sweet and is great with the kids. It's called Peas In A Pod Music. Check out their website if interested. www.peasinapodmusic.com

Take care

If you want free...take him to the park. There's this great little park on McNab all they way west to the end where the swings are covered, under a tent kind of. So you guys can enjoy playing on the soft floor, on the swings, under the shade. it's only about 10 or 15 min away. Just take nob hill to mcnab and head west. You can't miss it.

Hi D.!

In response to your question there are differents places, check where you can find clases for "Mommie and Me" I think is a good choice for a 9 months year old. You can find a list in the Parenting Magazine, Family Life magazine, also check with your pediatrician they problably have some information, close where you live. Nova Southeastern University in Davie has clasess too.

Hope this information help. God bless you in this wonderfull adventure called motherhood.
