Seeking Best Playground and Park

Moving into 33325 zip, and want to know where to take active 2yr old boy for a good outdoor play and walk.

What can I do next?

I'm not sure what area 33323 is, but I live in 33323 and Volunteer Park in Plantation (off Sunrise Blvd about a mile and a half east of Flamingo) is very nice.

Hi C., there is a playground located at Broward Community College South campus it is a nice playground for toddlers, there is also baby time at the library on mondays.
There is a bigger park located on Sheridan West of I-95 the zip code is 33024 the name is T.Y Park there is a playground for toddlers. I hope you enjoy the parks as much as my son and I do.

I live at 33328 and there is a great playground that is good for the whole family.. it is between Griffin Road and Sterling Road on 106th Ave and 50th Street. It has a walking area, big playground, basketball, tennis, etc...

Hi C.,

Depends on where you are within 33325. I'm in 33326 (Cooper City) but willing to go to Plantation, Sunrise and Davie, without hesitation. Volunteer Park is nice but they have separate toddler and older kid playgrounds. One of our favorites is a Sunrise park, Flamingo Park, just west of Flamingo Road on 8th street (between Broward and Cleary). It is shaded and all new equipment.

Other favorites of my 2 year old, Central Park in Plantation (just east of Nob Hill on Broward Blvd). Has swimming pool, toddler playgrounds (two), soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis, etc.

Jim Ward Sprinkler Park in Plantation (off of Broward, just west of 441). This is a FREE water park (no pools, just sprinklers) and I haven't found anything else like it, great for summer days.

Weston has a lot of nice parks as does SW Sunrise, check with the city websites.

Oh, and there is a very active Davie MOMS club for Western Davie if you are interested.

Best wishes, C.

I agree with Kristine, Volunteer Park is one of the better ones. It has a lot of room to run around, different play areas for different ages, and there is a area that you can take a walk around. I live in Weston 33326 area and we have alot of parks in our area as well. The Weston Regional at the end of Saddle Club road is good too. It has two different play areas as well.

Good luck.
C. :)
