Vue or Equinox?

I am looking at a 2006 Saturn Vue and 2005 Chevy Equinox. I am wondering if anyone has experience with these cars. Quality, durability, etc. I expect to eventually have 3 car seats (one or two being for a 1+ year old) and I often travel with a med. sized dog, so I would have to have a stroller and dog in the cargo/trunk. I know at some point I will have to get a larger SUV or Van, but since our family is still in the beginning stages and growing slowly, I dont want to jump right into a huge car and I am pretty sure that anything bigger would not fit into our garage.
Thanks for any advice!

What can I do next?

My first question to you would be why do you need 2 carseats for one child? I don't understand that part. Did I misunderstand what you were trying to say?
My mom has a Equinox and you would only be able to fit 2 seats in the back comfortably. She has a 2006 and they have more room then the newer ones. My brother in law has one for his job and they are very tight. You would be able to fit a stroller and a dog if the stroller is not a big one. The dog needs room to move around. And as for the Saturn I wouldn't buy one if you paid me. My sister in law had one and she had it in the shop more then she drove it. If I were you I would look into a van. You could put two carseats in the middle, one in the 3rd row and have the dog in the 3rd row. Plus be able to put the stroller in the back with no problems. We looked at alot of options and that was our only choice and we only have one child as of right now. Everything else was just too small. I never thought that I would be a van person. I didn't want any part of a van but now that I do have one I wouldn't trade it for anything else. When we don't need the 3rd row we just put it down and we have plenty of storage area. I have a large stroller and still have plenty of room for groceries and other things. I love my van.
When going shopping measure your gargage to make sure that it will fit.

I really don't know anything about either one.
I personally would think twice about buying a Saturn since they have done away with the brand. But that's just me.

My in-laws have an Equinox and I loved it - we drove it last summer with our kids (6, 10 and 12 at the time) - one booster seat - we were all quite comfortable - and I would definitely consider buying one. My in-laws love it and have had no problems with it at all.

I would opt for the Chevy over the Saturn...BUT if you really think you are going to need more space - look at the Traverse.

The 2006 Vue is a good model. My BF used to work for Saturn. We all drive them (well I also have my trusty ford as well LOL). Yes Saturn has been shut down, however its a GM brand, so if you are in need of repairs you can simply go to any GM certified dealer and they can fix the problem. Also they have great deals on them right now because they will soon be extinct, atleast near us they do. Thats just my input though. If you have any specific questions about the Saturn feel free to message me and I can ask the mechanic of the house. Good Luck with your purchase. =)
