VIBE And/or Xango
I am 29 and I have struggled with back arthritis, carpal tunnel, IBS, etc for mostly all of my adulthood. It really limits what I can do with my kids and I don't really want to be in pain for the rest of my life. I have one friend who recommends VIBE. And another friend who recommends Xango. My doctor says deal with the pain or take an over the counter pain meds. I would like something safe and healthy. My husband says it needs to be healthy, safe, and inexpensive too. Any recommendations?

Go get a professional Massage and see if they can help ease the pain...once a month you should feel a lot better.

I am not familiar with either. I am 35 and was diagnosed with Autoimmune Enteropathy 6 years ago (Chron's, Celiac Sprue, IBS, Colotis) and Fibromyalgia. I have since developed some other problems; however, I treat with a gastroenterologist in Oakland and a Rhumetologist in Oakland as well. I am on Celebrex for the pain which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory. As with any medications, there can be side effects, so far none for me. I tried all over the counter pain relievers and have had no relief. If I were you I would see a specialist and see what they recommend. Best of luck to you, I know how bad and miserable you feel.

Hi R., My name is D. I have 2 Children boys 3 & 6. I am not familiar with VIBE, but I am familiar with Xango, The way I see it is it can't hurt to try it. Xango has been known to help many people. It's a great maintenance drink for me at the moment, but it helped me with my migrains, helps me focus, lose weight. A women I know had major back surgery and was in pain for ever, she takes xango daily and she can garden again, she owns a horse farm, and you can imagine the things she needs to do, the xango helped her be able to continue to do the things she used to do. I am not saying it is a guarantee, but I will say it is worth a shot. It doesn't work overnight, but you should starts seeing a difference in 2 weeks. It isn't going to cure you, it is just going to help maintain the pain. You may still need to take ibuprofin from time to time, as I said it isn't a cure all, but try it for a month or two and make your own decision about it. It is healthy and works for many other things as well. If you are familiar with VIBE, I would say the same thing, pick one and try it, it can't hurt you, it's like takeing a vitamin. Good Luck I hope you find something that works for you. I can't imagine what you must go through on a day to day basis.

Please, Please, Please go to a naturopathic physician. I had lots of problems and was ending up in the ER 2 to 3 times a week. I was to go home and enjoy my kids because I would be dead soon the last time I saw a conventional doctor. This Doctor saved my life. I am happy healthy and TOTALLY symptom free.

Hi R.,
I have not had these problems per se, but some other issues. I have done a lot of research on diet - I believe doctors are not that knowledgeable on how important diet is for your health - they only seem to know drugs. Any advice they've given me on diet was so little - I knew way more than they did. Anyways - have you ever looked at a vegetarian lifestyle? It's made dramatic improvements in my health - I lost 20 pounds, my blood pressure normalized and I dropped 109 points of cholesterol. I've tried all kinds of supplements and I really don't think you are going to find a cure all from one supplement. I would really research your diet - some good books - The China Study; Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease by Esselstyn, MD from Cleveland Clinic; Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman. I've been to 3 different naturopaths and they all gave me different supplements and none of that worked until I totally changed my lifestyle. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear but I hope it at least helps you to maybe look at other possibilities. Good luck!!!

I was a Xango distributor for a couple years, and my son was very much into the sales. We have dropped out for several reasons. You can now get Mangosteen Juice in health food stores without paying the exhorbitant price for Xango. It's not a cure, it's a fruit juice that has some great qualities. I know people who have had great results with allergy, blood-sugar, and stomach conditions, but have never heard any tests on pain management. Within the year, I was diagnosed with a very painful and debilitating herniated disc. I would recommend seeing a pain management specialist in your area, who might recommend DTS Therapy by a chiropractor. It's working very well for me, is probably more expensive than surgery, but I prefer not to go there. Best wishes to you!

Hi R.,
I am not familiar with VIBE, but am familiar with Xango. It is a great product that has much to offer healthwise. It does not hurt to try since your IBS may be affecting your back. There are many nerves in the low back which affect the control of the bowels and urine output. When they are pinched or irritated, these functions are affected. You need a doctor that is willing to work with you. If your current doctor is not willing, then you may need an internal medicine specialist to coordinate your care. Controlling chronic pain effectively requires a team effort of you, your doctor, a physical therapist who helps you put together an effective exercise program so you keep your function, a pain management doctor, and a dietian. It is not simple, but persistance can go a long way to improving your quality of life. In doing so, you will be a better wife and mom because you feel better. If you need more advice on how to do this, I am willing to share privately.

The absolute best thing you could treat yourself to is read the book "Natural Cures They Don't Want You to Know About". You might want to look into checking what your body's pH is. If your body is a healthy alkaline, disease cannot grow. If you are acidic, which most of us are, you are bound to have medical conditions, and aches and pains. I take a product called Coral Calcium to keep my pH in check. Used to be sold via infomercial, now I get at Walmart. You can buy tongue pH test strips at any pharmacy.....the book at Waldens or Borders.....and OMG you are in for a treat reading that book!! What an eyeopener about the toxins that affect us, and the conspiracy of the government regarding food and Rx drugs! Their killing us...and worst part is - they know it!
