Hi C.! We took our kids on a surprise trip to Corpus last year and had a great time! When I was booking the hotel, it asked me if I wanted to become a "Priority Awards Member". I think that is what it was called anyway! It was free to joi and it saved me money on the hotel and even better gave us a 2pm check out instead of 11am. They still send me emails to save money on all different things and just about all hotels. We stayed at th Holiday Inn on the beach. I believe it was called Emerald Beach. It's the last hotel on that strip so it was great because nobody was just "passing through" all day! It had an outdoor cabana bar, a really reasonable gift shop, a huge indoor pool(which came in handy because it rained 1 day) arcade games,pool table,ping pong,hot tup, shuffleboard,and a ball pit! Plenty to keep the adults and kids busy when you aren't on the beach! Also, that hotel is about 6 blocks from the American Bank Center. I looked and the Ringling Bros And Barnum & Baily Circus will be there July 7th, 9th, 11th, and 13th.We saw a concert there when we went! There was also an outdoor fair going on that same weekend so we lucked out! That whole strip is beautiful! Email me if you wasnt to see any of our pics from the beach or hotel! Oh and don't forget; the 1st whataburger built is there and still in business so you have to go there and sit out on their outdoor balcony! It overlooks the beach too!Have fun!
