Toy Vacuum

I am looking for a toy vaccum for my 2 year old.. He loves playing with mine and loves his little toy lawnmower, so I am hopeful a little vacuum will get his paws off my shark navigator!

I thought this would be simple, just get online, type in toy vaccum, and buy whatever pops up. But of course, there are a million selections and a range of prices. Which does your child like? Did you buy one that never got used? Thanks!

What can I do next?

first we got my son a red "dirt devil" vacuum with batteries that made noise.. very cool.. then he advanced to a small vacuum with a battery pack.. the handle came in 3 parts.. so we took out the middle part and it was the right height for a 3 or 4 year old. the real vacuum was about 29 at walmart or target.. and it really did work.. could pick up some dirt..

my son loved vacuums...

I was shocked that some of them were $100! I found a whole cleaning cart with one at dollar general for $20 around Christmas last year. My daughter would've never known the difference in the $20 vs the $100.

I went to our local Goodwill and found one there for $1.99 super cheap and he plays and enjoys it. Although the one he picked out sings "Going to clean the house today, do dah, do dah.." -Said no one ever.

We got our son a real vacuum cleaner that was a small variety when he was younger so that when he was playing he was actually cleaning. Here is one that is similar to what we have. It's only $24 at Target. :)

Just yesterday I saw a real kids Dyson at Sams. They were only $20. They do have real suction, and are the ball variety. It was definitely a tempting buy, and still may go back for it!
