Toddler Swimming Lessons in Plano/Richardson

Both my kids use Emler in Plano. I started my oldest shortly before he turned 3, and my youngest at 1. They are now 5 and 3, and the oldest is an extremely proficient swimmer, and the younger one can swim well enough to save himself. Emler is good at making it fun and easing little ones into it. Their standard classes are 4:1, and I think that works pretty well, but you can get private lessons, if you want. Good luck!

I have friends that swear by Emler, but we used Aquafit (http://www.aquafitplano.com/) and really liked it.

I've had my daughter in lessons almost year round at Tom Muhlenbeck center through City of Plano since she was 3. The only thing is that since we don't live in Plano, we have to wait until 2 days after registration opens to sign up. During the summer, the classes fill up, and we can't get into their classes. During the fall and winter, fewer people care if their kids can swim, so it's easier to get classes then My daughter is 4 and can swim quite well; I mainly keep her in there to strengthen her skills and for stroke instruction now (she's 4) until she's old enough to move to the next level. They do offer private lessons there, as well, so you can always get in those . The thing is that they are pretty intense, so he may not enjoy them as much. Anyway, I love City of Plano's swim lessons, even coming in from outside of the city for my daughter to take them.
