Does anyone know where to get toddler flatware/daily silverware? I have some baby flatware that is sterling silver from when I was a baby. But I don't want to hand wash it. So I handed it back to my Mother. I don't need anything fancy. Just durable, dishwasher safe and cheap. With or without any child designs on the handle.
You can purchase toddler flatware just about anywhere...Walmart, Target, Babies R Us...just look for the section with children's dishes. For example, in Walmart it may be in with the regular kitchen section, while at Babies R Us, it would be by the bibs. Hope that helps!
I saw a display at Publix the other day; not sure if it is still there. I have mine from when I was a kid with Mickey and Minnie and Donald that we use. your best bet might be just to search online. i don't know if you can find anything like stainless steel that is really cheap anywhere unless it has a plastic handle. take and toss has plasticware which might be better to use if they are clearing their own plate from the table, so it doesn't get thrown away. my daughter uses the teaspoons from our regular everyday set.
We bought colored plastic flatware in the grocery store. It was labeled "disposable" but we've been running it through the dishwasher and reusing it for about 3 years now. I think "1st Years" might be the brand name. You could try Albertsons, Publix or even Target. Less than $4 for years of use. Its a great buy.
Ikea, Target, and Walmart!! I have a whole cabinet FULL of stuff from these stores! LOL
