I am looking for a dance or gymnastics class for my two year old. We are in a class right now that is free play only. I'm looking for something structured to her age group. It needs to be in the Leander/Cedar Park area. Does anyone know of anything like this? I already looked into Little Gym but I am interested to see what else is out there. Thanks!

I started my daughter at dance when she was two and realized they do a lot of "wait time" for the toddlers. In my experience, the kids tended to get off course and not listen as they are unable to sit for 5-7 minutes while someone else gets their turn. I put her in gymnastics at Acrotex on Sun Chase in Cedar Park in August and she loves it. There is constant movement and very brief waiting while showing instruction.

Capital Gymnastics is amazing! My son is in MDO there. It's at Parmer Lane and Brushy Creek, behind the Rainbow Station and Monessori school. Let me know if you need more info!

My 4 year old takes dance class at Center Stage in Leander. I know they have a year old class but not sure what they do in there but I think it is more structured than just free play.

Do not go to CENTER STAGE - HORRIBLE PLACE , It is filthy , nasty full of germs , kids running around everywhere & not diciplined. The owner is never there , all the employees are always late . Very small place & old , falling apart . All the teachers quit & do not stay working there. And the owner is GREEDY & just wants your $ , and LIES all the time ...

My daughter just turned 2 and she is in a dance class at MA Dance Project in the Railyard Shopping Center at 1431 and 183. She loves it. There are 3 others in her class. There is very little "waiting time" during class. They are constantly moving and learning the entire 30 minutes. It is structured but age appropriate. I think that they still have a spot or two for that class.

The Cedar Park Rec Center has dance & gymnastics classes for this age group. I had my 2 yr old try both & she really enjoyed herself and the teacher.

If you're willing to drive down 183 to Balcones Woods, you can try Dancer's Workshop (http://www.dancersworkshopaustin.com). They're an excellent studio.
